Having trouble with Dynamic News, particularly with the slider

  Hi there,
  I recently purchased the Dynamic News theme. The demo looked exactly like a needed. It’s just that…. now, after three days of trying it doesn’t loot at all, like the example. Not that i want it to look exactly like it, i like doing my own thing, but i feel like i am not getting the max out of it. Particularly the slider…… I do not know what i do wrong: but in the demo you see the magazine front page template TOGETHER with the slider. I can’t get them together in the same page. When i go to “pages” i have to choose between the one or the other….How did they do it anyway, those together??? And to make things worse, i can’t even install the slider AT ALL. I keep on getting the same message. Quote: “There is no featured content to be displayed in the slider. To set up the slider, go to Appearance → Customize, and add a tag under Tag Name in the Featured Content section. The slideshow will then display all posts which are tagged with that keyword.” Well i have been there at least 50 times, i have put tags for instance: “featured” and even tried other tags, and nothing works….. please help me! Thanks in advance! Sorry, but i’m really feeling very frustrated…..
