having trouble with imbedding a dropbox player

Hello, I read about being able to use a dropbox short code to imbed an audio player on my blog and so tried it. I got the player to show up but nothing plays when I hit play. The progress bar doesn’t even work. I wrote [audio https://www.dropbox.com/s/i7hh8fk38sfltci/Why%20we%20have%20Faces%20for%20Radio.mp3%5D Please let me know what I did wrong. I dropped dl=0 from the copied link because doing the short code with that didn’t even render a player. thanks

After searching through some past threads regarding embedding Dropbox Audio on WordPress, I came across the following:

As of September 1, 2017 public links have been disabled for all users.

Dropbox links aren’t supported for audio here on WordPress.com, so it won’t be possible to use this service to embed audio files. However, there are other options available:
With SoundCloud and Audiomack, the files are hosted elsewhere and pasting the link into your site will create an audio player.
