Having trouble with "recent comments"

  Hi :-)

  A while ago I was playing about with my widgets (so to speak) and I changed my Recent Comments to display the author of the comment, rather than the actual comment. I want to change it back but I can’t remember what I did to change it in the first place!

  If I go to ‘customise widget” I just get the option to change the title, avatar, etc and not what shows up on the widget on my page.

  Can anyone help me out please?!

  Delete the recent comments widget and create it again from scratch.

  I tried that but it didn’t make any difference!

  Wherever it was I edited the widget before, I could change the types of avatar that showed up when people commented so I’d like to get back to that place so I can make some more edits to its appearance

  Visit the Discussion settings on your Dashboard and scroll to the bottom.

  Ah, that’s one mystery solved, thanks :-)

  ….I just need to find where I changed the view from ‘comments’ top ‘authors’ now!
