Having trouble with the “more” tag…

Hi,
I’m a newbie and I’m having trouble with the “more” tag on the visual editor. I’m using the Black-LetterHead theme and I type some, then click the more button and inserts a tag, but when viewed the post just continues….What am I doing wrong?

You’re not doing anything wrong. You won’t see the more tag in preview mode but you will when you publish the post.

the “More” should come after the 3rd paragraph, before the first bold heading…
can you see anything that I should be doing?

Just to help someone who may go through this in the future…you have to LOG OUT to see the actual tag “more” work!thanks for the help…

I’ve never had to log out to see my more tags, but I certainly don’t see one on your blog while I’m logged in. I don’t know if that’s how your theme works or whether you’ve got a gremlin. Perhaps someone who knows for sure will be along.

The ‘more’ tag shows up on the front page(or consecutive pages) of the blog. It will not show up on the post at all. Go to your blog home page and scroll down to the post and you’ll see the “Read more …” link.
