Having trouble with the "Older posts" button properly showing posts in order.
-
I recently changed my wordpress configurations (using Linen Theme) to only show the most recent 5 posts when viewing my homepage… I did this to speed up my initial load time on my website. Whenever I click on the “older post” button at the bottom of the page to show the next most recently published posts, the only posts made visible are my 2 oldest samples and all others aren’t even made viewable. I would like to have all posts made viewable in order from most recently published to oldest. Any suggestions to remedy the problem?

Hi there,
The reason that it’s skipping all the way to the last two is because you have set all of your posts to be “Sticky.”
Sticky posts are designed to just be set for one or two posts which need to be on the front page of your site. They’re the most important posts which everyone needs to see first thing (like announcements or instructions about your site, etc). If you go through and un-sticky all of your pages, they will start appearing normally for you!
