Having Trouble With The Text Editor

    Hello there!

    I’m having issues using the text style editor when writing posts or pages, more specifically I’m not sure what the abbreations for each of the options found in the text style editor mean. Well I understand the ones for Bold, Italic, Link, Block Quote, well enough, but the others are a mystery to me. It also doesn’t help that I can’t find a list that explains what each one in the text editor means, and the closest thing I’ve come to finding something that explains it all are alldone in images. This doesn’t help me at all as I’m mostly blind (while I can see some images depending on the size, detail, etc, I can’t seem small images or icons within an image and I can’t see text within an image at all) – I’d rather have a simple text list describing what the options are in the text version of the editor.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    The buttons or options that I’m having trouble finding decent descriptions of what they are and what they do are: Del, Ins, Img, Ul, slash al or ul, slash li, and code.

    Li: Defines a list item
    Code: Defines a piece of computer code

    Thanks for the information and links, I’ll check them out and do further research.

    Do you happen to know the html tag to add a seperating line for content? And will it work in the text editor?

    Yep! You can use the hr tag:
    <hr />

    P.S.: Most tags that list http://www.w3schools.com/tags/default.asp are allowed on WordPress.com

    I’ve lost heading, undo last, color and font buttons and more. Where have they gone?
