Having trouble with wordpress blog login vs wordpress.com login
-
I am having trouble typing this in a way that makes sense so I just have to start from the beginning. Got a host for my domain, used cpanel to install wordpress and created my blog. When you use fantastico or quickinstall you provide a username and it automatically provides a default PW. This login is your wordpress blog login, however, you need to create a different login for wordpress.com which I did so you have two logins. I accidently screwed my whole website up during FTP transfers so I deleted the whole thing and recreated it using the same username under the same domain. Now however, the wordpress.com login doesn’t recognize my my blog as mine. When I try to login it says you need permission from the administrator to access this dashboard. I found this whole problem out to begin with when I tried applying for wordads. My wordpress.com login does not recognize my blog as my own. I really tried being as clear as possible. I know its confusing. What can I do?

If you have installed wp.ORG software and are paying to host your site, then the answers we provide in this forum will not necessarily apply to your situation. This forum is here to provide help with wp.COM sites. You should head over to wp.ORG and make friends with the folks in their help forums.
