Having trouble with Zoho email.
-
Hey guys,
I know you get a million emails so I’ll try to be brief.
Basically, I went through all the steps to get a zoho email address set up (both from their website and yours) and it’s still not cooperating. I’ve been back and forth with the Zoho contact, but they just keep saying basically, “sorry, you didn’t set it up right and it’s not showing up.”
So, being someone who’s not terribly internet savvy, I’m not sure what to do to get it working. What did I do wrong? If there’s anything I could do to help get it working just let me know.
Thanks for being so great at customer service!
Cheers,

Hi Josh!
Thank you for the kind words! So I took a look at your MX records and found that your domain: reclaimworkshop.com is not pointing to us at:
- NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
- NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
- NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
They are currently set to:
NS11.DOMAINCONTROL.COM
NS12.DOMAINCONTROL.COMIf you want those MX records to Zoho Mail to work you will have to point your domain to us.
Let me know if you have any questions with this!

Hey Grace,
Thanks for the prompt response.
Earlier this year I transferred over the domain name I purchased through you guys to point to my new business squarespace page (no hard feelings) and in doing so, I seem to have made everything fairly complicated.
Is it not possible to have my domain name pointing to the squarespace page and also use the Zoho mail service for a custom email address? I know I’m trying to blend together elements that aren’t necessarily the most compatible, but I’m already this far into it and figured I’d give it a go.
Let me know what you think.
Cheers,

Hi Josh,
Is it not possible to have my domain name pointing to the squarespace page and also use the Zoho mail service for a custom email address?
So unfortunately if you want to keep pointing your site to Squarespace the email records you added will not work because your nameservers need to be pointing to us.
So what you can do is transfer your domain registration elsewhere that will allow you add custom email records. Here’s a support guide on transferring your domain, including how to access the authorization (EPP) code:
