Having Two Administrators
-
Hi, I’m new to blogging/wordpress and we are setting up a blog for our new newspaper. We want to have two administrators, myself and another person — but I only want email notifications of comments that get posted and need moderation to go to him and not to me. I was the one who set up the blog and currently, when we test it by posting a comment, I receive an email, but he does not. We made sure under Options > Discussions that he has the boxes checked to receive email notices for comments. I did try unchecking my options for receiving email notices and that stopped them from coming to me — but now they are going to no one…
What am I missing here?
Thanks,
Neil Brown -
Is this a wordpress.com hosted blog? Your username is linked to a site that is not hosted here.
If your blog is hosted elsewhere, you need to go to http://wordpress.org/support

OK, thanks. I like you’re header image; nice & clean.
To your problem: Have you tried changing the email address under Options->General? This will only take effect after a confirmation email has gone out and been responded to, so make sure your co-administrator knows to look for it (it sometimes ends up in people’s spam folder).

Get the other person to register at wp.com, add them and make them an administrator. I believe this is answered in the FAQ.
