Having two pages for posting in 2012 theme

    Hi,
I have read the getting started pages and they talk about customising your blog to have multiple pages so if you are having reviews and then want to have subpages for reviews of books, films, music – you can have them on separate pages. I am using the 2012 theme.
I am able to create the menu for the pages and have them nested. But I find that under customize, you can only select one page for hosting the posts. How can I set up my blog to have different sub-pages for the different blog sub-types?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hello!

    Couple options:
    1. You could create a static page and then using the custom menu feature you can create new pages. When you go to make a post you can use the category feature to specify which page you want the post to be listed under.
The problem with this approach is that it will hurt your SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and make it difficult for people to find your blog.

    2. You could do all of the above BUT not have a static page. This will be better for SEO BUT you will end-up having all your posts listed BOTH on the homepage and under your page (as described above)

This video may also help you too as it walks you through how to link posts to specific pages.
