Having two separate wordpress blogs

  Is it possible to have two wordpress blogs that are totally separate on the same computer? I tried to do this but they seem to be connected anyway.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You can sign up for a totally new account if you want them to be completely separate, or you can register two blogs under one user name, the only connection they have is that they’re registered to one username rather than two.
