Having typed a blog, it is in as a draft, how can I publish it onto my blog?

Am new to this. Have typed 1st blog but I can only see it in draft. There is no publish icon there, only telling me to ‘safe draft’ at wits end, it’s getting too complicated! help please. Thanks Susie

Please look at this image as pictures are worth thousands of words. http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/schedule-a-post/ You edit your draft post and go to the Publish module top right hand corner. There you can change the visibility to “Public” and click the big blue Publish button.

Thanks however, having gone through Dashbrd, clicking onto my draft, checking visability then public, there is only an OK icon no Publish on my screen. There is only a big blue Save Draft. Have also tried quick edit. same thing. I am wasting so much time. disappointed this isn’t working.

Underneath “Allow Comments” to the right side there should be a “Status” field with a dropdown to the right of it. Select “Published” and click the “Update” button. That should publish your post.
