How do I constrain the dimensions of a custom header image without cropping it?

  hello,
  My the is “Under the influence” and I would like to upload an image to my header but the pixels of mi picture are not 980×180 so I have to cut the picture. How can I modify my image to be suitable to the header features?

  While there is a way to crop your image, there isn’t a built-in way to compress your image to the appropriate dimensions. You will need to do that through whatever image editor program you use on your computer.

  Please note: compressing an image to match the correct dimensions could result in the image being distorted and it might not look that great. Using an image that is exactly the right size will yield the best results.
