I have the exact header size needed so their is no cropping, it worked perfectly before, but for the last month it chops off the bottom of the header?

Hi there,
Although I could be wrong, this sounds to me like sending in a feedback is in order. :) -
I sent two feed backs in the last month, an they said that it will be fixed but never had (crappy time to have while its playoff time). I was just wondering if anybody else is having a problem.

No one has posted on this today. A few days ago Andy posted something about the css customized blogs having header issues since the new css changes were made but my vision is too bad today to hunt through the search box to find the thread for you … getting glasses, soon. :(

My suggestion in this thread is one thing to try.
It’s been essential for me in avoiding problems with the header photo on my blog.

@growthmadness
Ding dong and your clever idea too is buried somewhere in my notes. Thanks for bringing this forward. This isn’t one of my best days. I apologize for forgetting. :( -

I have a similar problem. Although my image isn’t the exact size, I have cropped it to the size I want. But for some reason, it keeps reverting to a cropped version (about 2/3 the actual height of my already cropped image).

The correct size for a Benevolence header is 700 pixels x 225 pixels. It’s also important that the header image is optimized as well as pre-sized prior to uploading. Although this may not apply to you I have noticed that some bloggers fail to pre-size and optimize images and then expect the cropping tool will do it all. It won’t. It will make minor adjustments but it’s up to us to feed good stuff in if we don’t want garbage to come out. Perhaps checking out the free optimization programs and using one will solve your problem if you follow the instructions growthmadness has given the link to above will produce a happy ending. I hope so. http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/05/08/optimise-your-images/
