  At the top of my site is my blog title, and then right underneath there’s a truly idiotic line that reads: “This WordPress.com site is the cat’s pajamas”.

  As you may have guessed, I did not add that to the site. How do I make it go away, and not be replaced with another idiot line about what a wonderful wordpress blog I’ve got?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

          Thanks.  WordPress seems to specialize in providing instructions in such a way that I can’t find them.
