Header and all customisations gone!

I did have two custom menus on my site, a large main portfolio and a social portfolio. Both went all bonkers this morning.
When I went in to check if it was resolved earlier this afternoon, I saw that more than half of the main portfolio is missing in edit menu page. Because it’s a large menu, it’ll take ages to reset it completely, especially since my blog always keeps ‘hanging’ because the menu slows down my connection.

I noticed many people have listed this issue/glitch with header and menus disappeared- when will this be restored? I tried to restore myself but it will not allow me. Thank you for the attention!!

@guarnierimarbella — Can you describe exactly what you expect to see on your site, so I understand what is missing?
If any of your site’s customizations are missing, you can open your site’s Customizer and add them back there. (For example, if the wrong menu is showing, you can change the Navigation settings in the customizer.) But if I understand better what is wrong on your site I can also help you with that.

@billie73 — The problem earlier removed some of your site’s customizations (for example, deactivating custom menus) but shouldn’t have changed the menus themselves and what menu items were in them. That’s odd. If you’d like more help fixing that up, you can share more details about what menu items are missing in your other forum thread here:

I was finally able to restore my menu and background manually, but the font colors are still not showing. Everything is in black and I can’t find an option to fix it.

Fixed it, I think. I don’t know why it disappeared but I had to go to Twitter to make a new widget, even though it is the same ID.
I’m vaguely not unhappy right now.

@asant003 — Your site at http://seoulsearching.net/ is fixed so the font is back to what it was before. If you are having trouble with any other sites, please give me a link to those sites so I can take a look for you. :)

My header still isn’t back – do I have to re-add it again or is it supposed to sort itself out?

@mountaincoward — If your header image is still missing, you can open your site’s Customizer and re-save it now.
