Header and feature images

    I can’t get each page to show the feature image at the top of the page. How do I get it to show in the header image only on the home page and the feature image for all the other pages? I do not want the same header image set in the custom appearance menu to appear all the time. Please advise. I have done this a thousand times and can’t get it to work now.
