  How would I change the header and footer color please? thanks!

  The class of the header is called .header-wrap
  so your css should look something like this:

  .header-wrap {
  background-color: blue;
  }

  The id of your footer is #colophon
  so you write in CSS:

  #colophon {
  background-color: blue;
  }
