Header and Footer visibility

How can I see my header and footer in all pages while editing? When it was just the home page I could see it but now after I added another page for some reason it’s not showing? But when I preview the site it’s there; it’s just the editor.

+ how can i add page links in the header? so far it’s just my name that redirects to home but that’s it; no links to the other page

I looked through the forum and other sites but i couldn’t find an answer

    WP.com: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there
You can edit your header and footer on the homepage. And then, that same header and footer replicate in all other pages. So you won’t see it in the editor, but will appear on the page.
know that anything you add to either your header or your footer, will show in every page. If you wish to add a navigational menu
In the editor-> On the top center choose header and footer, or one of them-> Click on the + sign to add a block->Choose navigation.
    Hope this works!

Hey, thanks for the heads up! One issue though – the header and footer isn’t appearing even on the homepage editor, and there is no menu at the top either to choose header or footer or both (it disappeared after I added the about page.) Help!

Go to my site-> Appearance-> Editor. Then you’ll see the homepage with the site editor settings.
