Header and menus have disappeared

I spent ages setting up my blog yesterday but this morning the header image and menus have disappeared! Every time I try and change my header pic I click save but when I view site it’s reverted back the the site header. All my menus have disappeared too!
Can’t work out what’s happened?
Please help! Have made site private again until issue resolved

Hi there,
I’m sorry for the trouble! Our team launched a change earlier today that caused problems for customizations you made to your site’s appearance. We fixed that problem, and most sites are now back to normal.
If any of your site’s customizations are still missing, you can open your site’s Customizer and re-save those customizations now.
If you have any more trouble with that, please let me know!

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply & explaining, I’m new to WordPress and finding my feet, I thought I’d done something wrong! All looks ok now thank you! Just one more question the picture in my post looks quite small is there any way I can make my pictures bigger? Have been searching but Couldn’t find the answer.

Sure thing, you have a couple options for making your pictures bigger. In the editor, you can click the picture and then drag the corners to resize it directly. You can also click the picture and then click the pencil icon that appears — that opens the image editor so you can choose a new image size for that picture.
