Header, banner and logo separation (urgent help needed)

  How do I make the header/sticky menu section a different colour to the banner image directly below? I need this to be at all times, not just when I am scrolling down.

  I want there to be a clean break between the two, like on the below website for example

  I have been trying to do this for hours, but to no avail. Frustrated is an understatement. Please can someone help?

  Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider. So we have no control over how your site works, and we also don’t make the theme you’re using.

  Please contact support for the theme you’re using directly for help with this, as it’s the theme that controls design elements like the colours on your site.
