header changes following css customization

  • Unknown's avatar

I currently use the MistyLook theme. I like changing headers about every 2 days or so. It’s my understanding that once a theme is css customized the uploader can no longer be used to change headers.

My question is: Exactly how would css customization of such a theme affect my ability to change headers as easily as I do now?

Note: If I cannot change headers easily then I will not purchase the css upgrade so the answer is important to me.

We’ve noticed that if you try to use both the header uploader and the CSS, usually the css settings will override what you;ve got in the uploader.

I’d just skip the uploader and just add in the url directly to the css file myself.

I want to be sure that I understand you. Does that mean that every time I wanted to change a header I would have to remove the former header image url from the css file and replace it with the new one?

Yes, just edit the URL for the header image.

Thanks for the information. I appreciate it.
