I am trying to add code to my site to add a MailChimp email block, and I am having difficulty. Can you advise? I don’t have a business or commerce plan, so is it still possible? Or are there any other ways of adding an email subscription popup or block?

Hi there @infomy10minutes you can do this on your Personal WordPress.com website by adding the Mailchimp block.
On WordPress.com, we offer a whole suite of tools to grow your audience. One of these tools is the Mailchimp block for your visitors to subscribe to your Mailchimp audience (i.e., your email list) and receive updates via email. This guide will show you how to use it on your site. Add the Mailchimp Block To add the Mailchimp block, click on the + Block Inserter icon and search for “maiThe pop-up form is available only on the Business or eCommerce plan.

As @justjennifer mentioned, the Mailchimp pop-up can only be added to plugin-enabled sites (Business or Commerce plans), as Mailchimp requires verification by adding code to the
<head>of your site. On all sites, you can use the Mailchimp block instead.If you need any additional help, don’t hesitate to reach out!
