Header, CSS

@osiris999, the signup panel you see on my site is to allow users to sign up to get email notification when I write new posts. My site is self-hosted, but you can do the same thing here at WordPress.com using the Follow Blog widget.

Thank you @thesacredpath, that’s almost what I’m looking for, I think I’m going to be okay with the Follow Blog Widget.

@thesacredpath, can you please tell me how to do, and make it look exactly like on your page, I have followed the instruction using the Follow Blog Widget, and its not quite what I want. I have this:
SUBSCRIBE BY EMAILEnter your email address
Subscribe
PS: No matter what I do there’s nowhere to have the empty panel to enter the email address, I have tried my best, now I need help. -
@osiris999, my site is using a different widget that is only available for self-hosted WordPress installations, so it isn’t going to look exactly like the one on my site.
If a WordPress.com user goes to your site, and if they are logged in, then all they have to do is to click on a “Subscribe” button, they do not have to enter an email address since WordPress already knows who they are (because they are signed in).
If your site was not set to private, and if you cleared your browser cache and cookies and then visited your site while NOT logged into WordPress, then there would be a field where they could enter their email address to follow your blog.
You can customize the message that logged in WordPress users would see by editing the widget (Appearance > Widgets) and entering something like “Click to Subscribe to My Blog” and then enter “Enter your email address:” for the non-WordPress.com users.
