header customization
-
I am using the Independent Publisher theme and in the header there is a circular design that I can click to get home, but I cannot change the appearance of the circle. Is there any way to change it to a different image or preferably get rid of it all together?
Thank you for your time
Jessica

Hi Jessica,
Do you have the free or Premium plan? With the Premium plan you can customize CSS. If you do have the Premium plan, try adding this to your CSS file:
img.site-logo-image.no-grav { display: none; }If you have the free plan, check in the dashboard under the Appearance>Header menu and see if there’s an option to remove the image there.

This is not a custom image header issue. Please consult your detailed theme description page at https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/independent-publisher/ and scroll down to “Gravatar Logo”.
Note that gravatars/blavatars (favicons) do not show up instantly after uploading them. Gravatar images are cached and frequently take several days to display after a change.
Dashboard → Settings → General
Do not keep uploading!
Do not forget to select an image rating.See: http://en.support.wordpress.com/avatars/blavatars/

To enable Gravatar display and hovercard display on your blog go to > Settings > Discussion and scroll way done the page to “Avatars”.
