Header Disappeared

  Not sure exactly when, but a few weeks ago the custom header that was working fine disappeard from laurielang.worpress.com. I reloaded it, it does appear as being present on the appearance—header set-up page but still doesn’t show on the actual published blog (and I’ve refreshed/reloaded several times). I am modifying the black-letterhead theme. Anyone know what to do??

  Please be precise and copy/paste your URL. That URL you gave took me to a spam site.

  Did you change the name of the file before you re-uploaded it? WP.com has issues with two files of the same name. Try renaming it and reuploading it and then put it in your CSS code. After you’ve got the CSS upgrade, the regular uploader won’t work.

  Does this mean you are editing the CSS or not? If so then you need to link to the absolute (not relative) header image URL in the CSS stylesheet. Once you’ve purchased the CSS upgrade, the regular header image uploader will not work. You must find the header.jpg in your code and replace it with the
  URL of an uploaded header imagewhich you have presized to fit.
