Header display problems
-
I’m using the Twenty Seventeen theme. My header image looks great on the static home page, but on every other page, the header displays a cropped version of the header image – and the cropped piece is from the middle of the image. Is there anyway to have the cropped header that shows on every other page show the top of the image without affecting how it’s displayed on the home page?

The way your theme is designed is stated here https://wordpress.com/theme/twentyseventeen and that is where the set up instructions and link to the live demo site is found.
Do you have an upgraded site that has CSS editing capability?
http://wordpress.com/pricingNote 1: Once you have the required upgrade you can use this link https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/css-customization#postform so you can create a thread that will appear in the CSS Forum where you will get the help you need with CSS editing.
Note 2: You can also post there prior to purchasing an upgrade to get an answer to whether or not what you want to do can be accomplished via CSS editing.
Your site is private so Volunteers cannot view it, and we Volunteers never request access to sites to help those who post here.

Hi there,
This is how Twenty Seventeen is designed to work. You can see the same behaviour on the theme demo page here:
https://twentyseventeendemo.wordpress.com/
You might be able to override this behaviour and have a bigger section of the image show with custom CSS, but you’ll need the Premium plan on the site to do that.
