HEADER DROP DOWN MENU

  My theme is 2011. How do I set up a drop menuon the top of my main page? where you have categories at the top of the page and when you run the mouse arrow over them a drop down menu appears. The picture on the theme page shows it but I have tried for a long time and just can’t figure out how to do it.
  I want to move much of my content into those drop down files.

  By default the front page of the blog is the post that displays all posts in your blog. Though there is only one dynamic page in a blog for posts (not pages) http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/ and we cannot post to more than that one page, we can create the appearance that we have posted to more than one page.

  We organize posts by assigning categories to them. You can create a custom menu and add the dynamic categories pages into the custom menu.

  Thank you for the quick turn-around. It helped immensely. I choose a new theme, “the columnist” and for the most part I love it AND I also picked up a lot of new readers! Amazing
