Header font
-
I am just setting up my site and would like to edit the text in the header. I have uploaded a custom photo, but cannot figure out how to change the title on the top on the page or make the font larger – this NEEDS to happen! Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

No idea what you did with the font – but change the text:
Dashboard >> Settings >> General >> Edit Title and Tag LIne

I’m afraid that is an issue with the font you have chosen. The only way to fix it would be if you had CSS editing experience and the paid CSS upgrade, and you would end up having to move the tagline, because by the time you get the font large enough to look good, the decender on the “g” goes clear down into the image and pushed the tagline down behind the header and out of sight.
In Firebug I had to take the font size from 2.2em up to 6em just to get it to a reasonable size.

casonginstitute: It looks like you have Typekit installed.
If you need any help with that, please visit Typekit’s support page for WordPress.com users.
The Site Title should be legible if you disable Typekit. (How? In Appearance > Typekit Fonts, clear the field under “Your Typekit ID” and click “Update ID.”)
