Header font and alignment adjustment please
-
Hi!
Would you please help me with my Header…
I’d like to increase the font size and also make the line longer so that I can change the copy from:
“Coaching Expert | 10,000+ hours since 2003”
to:
“Coaching Expert | Lifelong Character Builder |10,000+ hours since 2003”
so it stays on the same line instead of returning to the next line.
Would you please help me?
Thank you!

Hi!
Your site title has a fixed max-width (35% of the total width) so if you want your text to fit in one line, you could widen your site-title area.#site-title { max-width: 45%; }You can also change your font size. Now it is 0.67em and you can make it bigger with a declaration like this:
.wf-active #site-title h2 { font-size: 0.80em; }In any case, tale into account: the bigger your font is, the wider your site-title area should be to fit and you should be careful not to invade with your title the menu area (home, about…)
I hope this helps you.

Hi raulanton,
Everything you’ve said makes sense. How do I go in to edit it though? I’ve gone into Appearance and the Customize, however don’t see how I can edit from there….?
Please advise and thank you!

Hi, Kate.
You can see how to add custom CSS pieces of code here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/editing-css/
This document is very clear and there are pictures in it to help to understand. Anyway feel free to ask me if you have any doubt about!
