Header/Footer
-
I am on the free version of WordPress and suddenly the header/footer section in the customisation bit has stopped saving my changes. Everytime I make an adjustment, it says ‘saved’ but I click view and nothing has changed. I’ve tried clearing my cache but that hasn’t solved it. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,
Have you tried it in another browser?
https://wordpress.com/support/browser-issues/There could be a few reasons why this happens:
- Theme issue: Your theme may not be compatible with the latest version of WordPress, or there may be an issue with the theme code. You can try switching to a different theme to see if that fixes the issue.
- Cache issue: Your browser may have cached an old version of the page that doesn’t include the most recent changes. Clearing your browser’s cache may fix this.
- JavaScript error: If your site has a JavaScript error, it can prevent changes from being saved. You can try disabling all your plugins to see if that fixes the problem.
- Browser Extensions: Some browser extensions can cause conflicts with WordPress.com and prevent changes from being saved. Try disabling any browser extensions you have installed to see if that resolves the issue.
Please let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with.
