Header for 2012 Theme

    Hi,

    I’m trying to add a Header to my 2012 theme site / blog and am having problems adding a header.

    The header size recommended is 960 X 250. When I have added my custom header it does not go above the menu and does not fit all the way across.

    So…..

    Q – How can I get the header to fit across the whole page?
    Q – How can I get it to go above the menu?

    I’ve looked through other posts and can’t find an answer so sorry if this has been covered before.

    The site in question is not a WordPress.com site. You will need to seek help on the WordPress.org support forum for self-hosted versions of WordPress.

    What you are looking to do is use CSS styles to modify the site’s design. You will need to create a Child Theme based on the 2012 site, a purpose that Theme was designed for, and edit the style.css file accordingly. Please get help from the other forum for this. It is beyond the scope of WordPress.com. Thanks.
