header gone again, and pictures not showing

same kindof thing that happened back on 2/12 in this post – https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/my-blog-all-of-a-sudden-lost-its-header-and-is-looking-funny/page/3?replies=68#post-308884
i’m just going to assume its on WP’s end – something technical? If I go into IE and pull my my blog, http://www.fabulousfinishes.wordpress.com it comes up but if I use firefox none of the pictures, including the header, are showing up.
anyone else?

Works for me in Safari and Firefox. Have you tried clearing your cookies, cache, restarting your browser?

I did refresh everything – several times, rebooted – reconnected on internet – still not pulling up with graphics or links – no header, all the photos show as white text boxes. Nothing is linked if I click on it… yet in IE it is coming up. This is exactly what happened last time, wasnt just me, it was many from all over the world – yet all of a sudden it just fixed itself…. ?

Really trying to figure this out for myself. Am I right to assume it is browser related- not a wordpress issue? and that firefox needs good CSS code, not one riddled with errors, yet IE could pull up that same blog without the css being a stumble block? Somewhere I read someone say, ‘did you verify your css?’ – is this where my problem lies?
it was working fine – no issues with firefox or wp, early this morning i was in middle of posting – when i finally got it to where I wanted it , and posted, it would not display in firefox. Nowhere in that time did my system change, ie) no firefox updates, or security updates etc….
can i assume one step further and figure it was something I did in that last post that it did not like? i’m attempted to delete that post just to test it…. i just want to fix it – i hate using IE, yet, i cant see my working blog in firefox, and I am fearing that this wont work like last time, where I will pull it up – TWINKLE TWINKLE from fairy wand – its all fixed.

guess i should have added, i do have the web developer add-on on my FF – and i have the button to ‘validate css’ . it comes up with 17 errors, then after those it lists VALID CSS INFORMATION , of which its a huge list of css – i am assuming its my whole blog’s worth?
is that the CORRECTED form of css? like what mine SHOULD be written as? am i supposed to take that and go in and tweek mine to match? would i copy all this and just paste it into the css update box?
sorry, i feel like a total ass here, but have no clue where to go for help.

My blog is doing the same thing (all 4 blogs I have) accross multiple browsers and multiple computers.. Leads me to believe it’s on WordPress’s side…

Okey, maybe this can help someone. This is 2nd time in a month I’ve had issues with firefox not loading the css – but blog would pull fine using IE browser. Like last time, I wasn’t the only one that suddenly had some system glitch. Still not certain what/where/why it comes from – all I know is one moment everything is fine, and next my blog, in firefox, is lacking format.
Last time mine fixed itself on its own- this time it didnt, even after it was reported here that there was an issue, but that all should be back in order.
In my search endeavors, I found a Mozilla post that said that most often the reason there is in issue with CSS and browser is because of the PROFILE. maybe it gets glitched up, or corrupt, or who knows – but they said to go in and create a NEW one, then try loading firefox under that profile and see if your issues are corrected.
So I did. This is the instruction I followed to RUN my profile manager, create a new one, and to further copy info from old to new http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_manager#Accessing_the_Profile_Manager
. After I created a new profile, I opened firefox, went to my wordpress blog and it pulled up FINE – everything is there, links, photos, headers etc… So this guy was right, it was an issue with my firefox profile.
I had to do several trial/errors in copying the files from old profile to new (i wanted all my bookmarks etc to carry over). When I tried to just copy all and paste all I screwed up the new profile, and it wouldnt pull my wordpress CSS. So I had to delete it and start over. The file I found, that was the culprit (seriously I copied and pasted one at a time then would pull up firefox to see if my blog was jacked) was PERMISSIONS.SQLITE . In the end, i created a new profile, copied ALL the files from the old into the new, then immediately deleted this permissions.sqlite file – and when i pulled up firefox using this new profile, everything works and my wordpress blog looks great.

Same thing has been happening with me. I use Firefox at home and IE at work. Sometimes I’ll go back into the post to edit the picture link, and then it’ll work fine for the browser but won’t transfer to others. When I click the picture I get taken to a 404 page from Google, where I host my pictures, and it says it’s a bad URL or that the image can’t be found on the server. No idea what’s going on, and I’m not even sure if this is something that is being experienced with other users visiting or not.
And this only happens with pics linked from other URLs. I have my banner hosted directly with WP, and it always shows up. So is this a bad server connection or what, and please, how can we fix this?
