Header image

    Hi,
Hoping you could help me. I have two questions about uploading my logo above my header image.
    1. I’m trying to make my title, my logo Ruth Bailey Yoga, larger so it doesn’t look so small above the header image.
    2. It looks a bit blury. I’ve uploaded it as a jpg file. Is that the right file choice? I also have it as a pdf file so I tried to upload that but it wouldn’t show up.
I don’t know what I’m doing but I’m trying to learn!
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thankyou. Ruth

    Hi Ruth,

Looking at your site has reminded me I need to dust off my yoga mat :)

    1. There isn’t an option to edit the logo size in the Customizer so if you want to increase the size of your logo you would need to upload a larger image. The maximum logo width for your theme (Twenty Sixteen) is 750px.

    2. Do you know what size (in pixels) the original logo image was? If you aren’t sure I can help you work this out.

A .jpg file is a good choice. Only .jpeg, .gif, and .png files can be used for header images so that is why the .pdf didn’t show up.

Let me know how you get on!

    Hi Gemma,
Thank you so so much for your help.

I’m unsure what size the logo is in pixels? I don’t think it is very big though. I don’t have a bigger version of the logo so I’ve contacted the girl that did it for me & have asked if she can send me another in a larger size. She said she will this weekend.

Thanks for explaining about the jpg file & why the pdf didn’t show up.

Happy to hear you’ll be getting back on the mat! It always feels a bit like coming home :)

I’ll let you know how I go. Thanks again so much. Ruth
