Header & Image
-
Hi,
How can I remove the header in it’s entirety as it doesn’t suit the look i’m going for?
How can I add elements out of the predefined central frame?
Thank you :) -
Hi @baobabpage, I see a cover image on the site and am not sure if that’s what you’re referring to. To remove that, edit the page.
To hide the site title and tagline, head to Customize > Site Identity and uncheck the box there. I do recommend setting a site title, though, so that when you share on social media or when people get subscription emails, the right name show sup.

Hi,
I have tried that but it still leaves a large white space above the content on the page.
I would like to have the header but I don’t like the design of it, is there anyway to change it?
At the moment the logo, the name & the little description are all centered & one under the other…
Thank you :) -
That customization is only possible using CSS. Custom CSS is a feature included in the Premium and Business plan and therefore you first need to upgrade to either plan before using it. You can read more about it here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-css/
If you decide to upgrade we can provide you with the necessary CSS code.
