Header Image being cropped on pages
-
Hi,
I’m not sure if this is the correct forum for this or if it should be on the support page for the Theme itself.
I am creating a digital fact sheet for my organization but I noticed that when I create pages, the header image is being cropped if you navigate to those page.
The site is bbtfactsheet
If there is some CSS that I can use to correct this, please can someone advise… the same issue occurs on mobile browsers.
I’ve tried resizing the image but that didnt seem to work.
Thanks
Cage

Hello –

Is this page published on the site? I didn’t see any fact sheets when looking through the site menu. I might not be looking for the right thing though.

Hi
Sorry I should have been more specific. The entire site is a fact sheet. If you open “any” page from the site you will notice that the header image is being cropped compared to how it looks like on the home page.
Thanks

Thanks Cage – I see what you’re referring to now. Take a look at the Ovation demo site: https://ovationdemo.wordpress.com/
When you click through you’ll notice that the header image reacts in the same way. This is built in by design.
The header image on the other pages is reduced by 100pixels. Take a look at the theme specs at the bottom of the theme setup instructions. Make sure your header image matches the size listed there. https://wordpress.com/theme/ovation

You might have luck just playing around with some photo editing software and that header image. Figure out how to crop it for best aesthetics on the secondary pages. One idea would be to try and remove all of that extra space at the top of the image above their head.
