Header Image biased toward horizontal images — need vertical cropping!

    I’ve been having trouble with the cropping choice for Header Image. It appears there is a bias toward horizontal images and I need to have a vertical shot to represent my hobby (rocketry). Is there a way to have a vertical image? Also is it possible for the text to float over the image as opposed to having a solid background to the text I’d like to go over the image?
