HEADER IMAGE COLOR & QUALITY

I made my own header image using photoshop and thought of uploading it after I’m done. I uploaded my image and when I was about to view it again on my site, the color quality changed. I don’t know how it happened. Please help.

If by “color quality changed” you mean that it looks slightly dark, then it is because there’s is black overlay with a reduced opacity applied over the image via CSS on your theme.So to remove that you will have to edit the CSS using the CSS editor.
But editing CSS requires you to be on a WordPress.COM Premium or Business plan.You can read more about it here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/editing-css/
If you are already on any of the plans i mentioned above, then you can just add this code in the CSS Edtior to remove the overlay:
.custom-header { background: transparent; }How to access the CSS Editor?
Go to My Site(s) → Customize(Besides the Theme option). Click on the CSS tab.Thanks! 🙂
