header image cutting off (argent theme)

    hello i’m brand new here just slowly building a blog. I finally decided on the argent theme but the header image is driving me nuts. when i downsize the image to the size specified it cuts off the sides. when i upload regular full size image it cute a lil off the top.

    anyone know the exact size needed for it to display the entire image in the argent theme?

    Since the header image in Argent adjusts automatically to fit the browser window size, it may result in cropping at some screen sizes. For this reason there isn’t a precise size that will guarantee no cropping at every screen size. The recommended header size is 2000 × 380px, but if you’re including text in your header I’d recommend you give it a nice thick border and keep the letters away from the edges.
