Header Image Distorted?

  Hi all, I am looking for help in respect of setting a Header Image on my layout.

  I have made it to fit 1020 x 450 pixels. I saved it as a jpeg and it looks great – sharp, the right size and well positioned. Whenever I upload it to my Header Image part of my layout, however, it ends up looking distorted, badly positioned and fuzzier than the original image.

  I can’t work out what is wrong. I would be very grateful for any help or suggestions.
