Hi @werr5579at,
The Ixion theme supports featured images on single Posts and Pages. Try to set the images as featured images for the Posts and the pages. Also, make sure the width of the image is set to 1080px. The Ixion theme page provides details of setting up your Header images and also the size specifications at the bottom of the page.
Give this is a go and let me know how you get on.
Thanks!

I have a couple of questions for you.
Can I add new CSS formatting within Ixion? I want to create new headers and paragraph formats.
Is there a limit to the number of photos or slide show images that can be used at anytime.
I really appreciate your advice.

Hi, I am using Baskerville 2 as the theme for my blog and am having the same issue – when I upload a header image, it appears as changed on the customization page, but when I go onto the published site, the theme’s default image remains. I am also having the same issue with the social menu customization changes. Please may you help?

Hi @werr5579at, there really isn’t a limit on gallery or slideshow images, but the one thing to keep in mind is that the more images you insert, the longer it will take for pages to load, and with a large number of people using tablets and phones to view sites, and given they may be viewing while on cellular data, or perhaps a slower wi-fi network, it is something to keep in mind.
With the WordPress.com Premium or Business plan, you can add custom CSS to any theme. For more on that, see this support page.

@gurveena, since you are using a different theme than discussed here, in the future, please start a new thread to prevent confusion and to keep the original poster from getting unnecessary email notifications.
At Customize, your changes have been saved as a “draft”. Go to Customize, click on the gear icon beside Draft Saved and check Publish and then click the Publish button and your header image will show up.

Glad that did the trick I’ll mark this thread as resolved but feel free to start a new one if you need help with anything else.
