Header image doesn't appear when link posted

  I cannot figure out why the header image doesn’t show when I post the website link in Facebook, G+1, etc. Does this just take some time to populate?

  I tried setting a featured image, but that doesn’t make a difference.

  Any ideas?

  We have no control over the images that Facebook or any other social networks chooses to display or when they choose to flush their image caches. We really only send them the URL of the post, and they hunt through that for the excerpt and images to include.

  For the “Blissful Blog” theme, I had to remove the header image and just assign the header image as the featured image for each page. I then used the Facebook Debug tool (http://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug) as suggested by timethief and that fixed the issue. I had to do this for each page.
