Header image doesn't display properly
-
I am using the Gateway theme and I uploaded a header image including a pattern and my logo already on it. It looks great but depending on what size I have the browser opened to, it cuts off the bottom which is most of my logo. How do I set it so looks the same no matter how big or small my window is?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
The site https://inafirenze.wordpress.com/ appears to have one of the Button themes applied. Are you referring to a different site? Do you still have questions regarding the Gateway theme, or has this been resolved by switching to another theme?
-
No I’m referring to rachelsquier.wordpress.com
I’m not sure why it included that site. Sorry for the confusion.
I still have not resolved this issue.

Thanks. The site inafirenze.wordpress.com is set as your “Web Address” at your Account Settings page, https://wordpress.com/me/account. You can change/update that setting there.
Custom header image issue:
Here’s the image that is used to create the header image on the site: https://rachelsquier.files.wordpress.com/2017/06/cropped-wordpress-header.jpg. It does get cropped a bit on larger screens, but the full logo still displays on my PC monitor. Since the logo is above the site title, how would cropping of the bottom of the image be affecting the logo? Can you provide a screenshot? The Making a Screenshot support page may be helpful. It might be best to revise the image so that the logo, site title, and tagline are more condensed, or situated slightly lower in the image.

This is full screen, it cuts off the top and bottom of my header. My logo is a part of the header image, it’s not in the separate Logo location.
https://rachelsquier.files.wordpress.com/2017/06/screen-shot-2017-06-28-at-2-55-49-pm.pngThis is a medium window size, cuts off the top.
https://rachelsquier.files.wordpress.com/2017/06/screen-shot-2017-06-28-at-2-56-20-pm.pngThis is a very small window size and shows the entire header.
https://rachelsquier.files.wordpress.com/2017/06/screen-shot-2017-06-28-at-2-56-50-pm.pngYou can see that it shows less of the header image the larger the window is opened. I’m using an apple desktop so maybe it’s only on macs but either way I would like to fix this because it looks unprofessional which defeats the purpose of the whole site.

Thanks for the screenshots. I’ll call for staff attention to the topic. Please wait for a staff member to respond.

@inafirenze on this theme, the header is basically a background image and because of that, it will get cropped. You can upload the logo separately, and I would recommend doing that. You can see the “logo” here is on every page of the demo, and it is not built into the background:
https://gatewaydemo.wordpress.com/html-elements/You could also get a plan that supports CSS then use some fancy tricks to force the header to display the way you want. But I recommend the other method.
