Header image fail to load

I am currently using Sketch theme.
I am currently facing an issue trying to upload new header images into my blog.
When every time I upload a new image to my blog and set the new image as a header, there is no issue.
However the image does not appear in one of the headers I have in my library.
There is an “x” only in the new uploaded header but WP cannot load the image.
The newly uploaded image also failed to appear properly in the Media Library.
If I set to Random Header, the new image header will not load either.
May I know is there a way to fix this?

Could you try using the Customizer and let me know if things work better? The screenshots you’ve taken are from the old interface, and the newer way is via Appearance > Customize > Header:
Let me know if things work as expected. If you’re still having trouble, could you point to a specific image that isn’t appearing as expected so I can take a closer look?

Yes, using the Customizer works.
I wonder why using the old interface will not work?

The old way of adding headers is being phased out, so it may not work fully as expected. I recommend using the Customizer to add headers.
