Header image for blog post

I am trying to remove a default featured image on a blog post, however this image only comes up in preview and not on edit so I don’t know how it got there
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Which post are you referring to? Have you followed the instructions in the Removing a Featured Image section of the Featured Images support page?

Hello,
If it only come up in preview and not in edit or in production, then it could be an old cache.
Have you try testing it on a different browser or private/incognito mode?

Isn’t it a default featured image? Default featured images are removed the same way that featured images that you’ve set are removed.

You should be able to delete any image that were used by the theme authors to create default featured images from the media library. If the image in question is not in the media library, then try updating the page in the editor. If that doesn’t get rid of the phantom featured image in preview, then I’d suggest adding a “modlook” tag to the sidebar at right here to call for staff attention.
