header Image gone weird

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hey again,

    I have tried searching to no avail, so hoping that somebody could give me a pointer in the right direction

    I’m just building a new blog for a friend

    http://euroboyz.wordpress.com/

    and with my building confidence (well maybe not !!) of making css changes I have added a fixed background to fjords, adjusted the four columns widths so that the primary column is wide enough to take vimeo etc and was feeling quite pleased with myself…

    however with me messing with the columns it has thrown the header image into chaos, repeating parts and getting confused.

    Is there anyway of fixing this??

    Thanks in Advance
    Neil

    Try these values for offsetting the background images in the sidebars.

    #sidebar-1 {background-position:-446px 0;}
    #sidebar-2 {background-position:-640px 0;}
    #sidebar-3 {background-position:-783px 0;}

    You might need to nudge them by a pixel or two to suit but that looks to be more like what you want from here. It takes into account the margins between the columns so it looks as if the image is running through all of them.
