Header image isn't changing after publishing when I try to change it

  Hi, header image isn’t changing even after publishing. I’m using the Hemingway Rewritten theme. Thank you.

  Hi there, the best place to start is the Hemingway Rewritten showcase page for set-up information: https://wordpress.com/theme/hemingway-rewritten

  This theme allows you to use featured images as the page or post header. You add that on each post or page in the Editor.

  If you want to change the header for the entire theme, you can do that by uploading a Custom Header in the Customizer.

  In addition to what @justjennifer has said:
  If, with the Hemingway Rewritten theme applied, the image topping a page or post on your site doesn’t change when you change the site header image, then that means that the page or post has a featured image set on it, which will display instead of the site header. Under the section Featured Header Images, the Hemingway Rewritten theme guide says:

  If a featured image is assigned to a page or post, the image will appear in the header – otherwise, if you set a custom header it will be displayed.

  The front page of https://klaissadacanay.wordpress.com/ has a featured image set on it, as do the “About” and “Contact” pages, the latter two being linked to your primary menu’s “Resume” and “Letter of Interest” items, respectively. The featured images set on the “About” and “Contact” pages may have been inherited from the different site, since there are no default featured images on Hemingway Rewritten.

  In order to display the site header a post or page with a featured image set, you’ll have to remove the featured image, as described in the Removing a Featured Image section of the Featured Images support page. Alternatively, you may remove the present featured image on any post or page and set another one — see Setting a Featured Image in the Featured Images support page.
