Header image isn't responsive to screen size

Hello!
The header image I have is perfect for viewing on a computer screen, however, while all other pages (with their featured images) respond and adapt to smaller screen size, the header image won’t.
Can I do something to change this or is there a setting I’m missing?

Hi there, the header in Twenty Seventeen is designed to be used with photographic images rather than with images with text in them. This can be adjusted somewhat with Custom CSS, but it would require the WordPress.com Premium Plan upgrade which includes Custom Design. Also, we would probably not be able to get it perfect.
It may be best to find a theme that resizes the header image and header area proportionally to keep the entire image visible
