Header image keeps cropping when I publish the site?
-
The current template we are using is Bakserville2 and the header image I want to use is the exact dimensions that are listed and when I am editing the header image it looks fine but then when I publish it and view it on the site, the image becomes stretched and cropped and does not look like the original image it is supposed to be,
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
For the Baskerville 2 theme:
Custom Header dimensions are fluid, displayed at varying widths and heights, depending on the screen size.
https://wordpress.com/theme/baskerville-2This may mean the header image looks different, depending what screen size you’re viewing it on.

Hi @discountschoolsupply, the header on this theme works best with photographic type images that are not as sensitive to the cropping and resizing of the header area, and does not work well with graphic type images like you are trying to use.
This could be made better with custom CSS, which would require the WordPress.com Premium or Business plan upgrade, but looking at things, it would be challenging to make it work with your graphic type image.
