Header image lost after CSS changes
-
Hi – I made some changes to fonts type and color, background color and link behaviors, but after loading the customizations, I have lost my header image. Have tried to reload many times using the Header UI, tried resizing, cropping, etc, but nothing is working. I even restored the original CSS for the template, but same problem. Any ideas?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Once you use the CSS editing feature, you need to put the URL of the already-uploaded header into the proper place in the code. The Dashboard header uploader won’t work for you.

The blog linked to your username is not a free hosted WordPress.com blog. This forum is only for those who have (1) a free hosted WordPress.com blog and (2) who have purchased a custom design upgrade for it from WordPress.com. If you do have a blog that meets those crteria then please provide an active link starting with http:// to it.If you are refering to the site linked to your username then you will have to post here for help with it http://wordpress.org/support/

You can use both the CSS editing feature and the dashboard header uploader at the same time, it’s just that if you do that you need to make sure to remove any custom CSS that overrides the header image.
One example based on your description might be that you tried to set a “background” property on the same element that was being used to set a background image.
Looks like you may have changed the link you had for your username before. To look into your case further, I’d need to see a link to your site starting with http://
